Our Client is a large scale food delivery service and they are currently looking to hire delivery drivers to do home deliveries around the Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town areas.

Salary per month: Market related(but negotiable based on work experience) + generous company benefits

Training will be provided so you can get accustomed to the companys' way of doing things.

This position is only for those of you with a valid driver’s license

General Tasks and Duties:

  • Small to medium scale deliveries from a number of retail or fast food outlets as well as supply chains, depending on the delivery order and client.
  • Inspecting the vehicle for any faults before and after the trips
  • Making sure the customers sign the delivery receipt
  • Adhering to the rules of the road and ensuring the vehicle and its merchandise gets to its destination in a timely and orderly fashion.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear criminal record
  • At least 3 years work experience in the delivery industry or as driver
  • Team player
  • Willing to work shifts
  • Must reside in one of the above mentioned areas or be willing to relocate.
  • Able to work a maximum of 36 hours per week.

If Non-South African, please make sure you have the following as well:

  • National/International driver’s license (if you dont have a South african Drivers license)
  • Valid passport
  • Work permit/ Asylum
